Mirei Kiritani Stars in Hero Comedy "Joshizu"

It was announced that actress Mirei Kiritani (Ando Lloyd, Ace Attorney) will lead the cast of Yuichi Fukuda’s (Hentai Kamen, Hero Yoshihiko) upcoming tokusatsu movie Joshizu. This will be Kiritani's first starring role in an action sentai flick.

In Joshizu, Kiritani will play the character of Naoko Akagi, a busy career-oriented woman who’s selected to fight against a mysterious villain. She will be the "Red" of the team.

Five women with vastly different backgrounds, Commander Charles assembles the team “Joshizu” includes the overly serious Red, the fashionable Blue, the wealthy heiress Navy, the dirt poor Yellow, and the aspiring theater troupe member Green, with each member of the team's surnames having the Japanese words for specific colors! Joshizu is scheduled to be released in Japan in early summer 2014.

Hmn not sure about your latter question, but I am pretty excited about the Kenshin sequels. I was pretty impressed with the first movie.

Are you looking for something more realistic or fantasy/scifi?
