"Kamen Rider Decade will be shown in two series. The first, starting in January, will be the first half of the show, and the second half of the show is to start in May.
The first part will show the life of Kamen Rider Decade, a sixteen-year-old boy who is obsessed with the television show Kamen Rider Kiva and the whole franchise of Kamen Rider. All the kids in town use the Kamen Rider cards to play a trading card game that has swept Japan.
The first part of the series will be about the young boy finding that Kamen Riders are real, and that he is the heir to be the new Kamen Rider and save the world from evil.
The second series is said that there might be a timeskip of a few years. The second part of the series will focus on the main character, Kamen Rider Decade (may not be Rider's name and just show), bringing back the past Riders and facing them one-on-one in battles.
The cards to the side are the supposed leaked version of the TCG that will come out with Decade and be used in the show."
-Ryotaro will make a reappearance and he as well as the other imagin will be the kid's mentor for the better part of the series
-The Rider Girl will be a classmate who finds out about the new Rider's identity and forces him to let her follow him around everywhere. She also helps at her parents cafe.
-Tendou, Hibiki, Takumi will appear as minor characters who will support him until he has to fight them. No word on Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki, Blade or Kiva yet.
-Decade will fight a combination of older and newer monsters.
-Decade's main conflict will be him trying to live up to the reputation of his previous incarnations and will do a lot of soul-searching and development in order to get to that point.
*sigh*

wheni saw this thread i immediately thought of how much i hate those flashy backdrop scenes that they replay over and over again off the same shot to conserve animation costs.
its practically a code that they have to follow in shows like that.

Weekly shows are not cheap!
I think that that happens less nowadays (well I don't really watch the Sentai shows, but in Kamen Rider they don't as much as before)...

They doint really happen anymore since the Heisei era of Kamen Rider!
Booo! on Kamen Rider Decade. So it's a repeating pattern now? Bad ass series then lame series, then bad ass series then lame again? Kiva is so kicking ass!

Glad you are liking Kiva... never got into it. Is this your favorite of the Heisei riders?

Could be close. Both kuuga and Agito are great with the continuity even factored in. All succeeding series are independent continuity. Faiz was decent but a bit on the too emo side, it was more Claremont era X-Men than Kamen Rider if you ask me. Kabuto started out strong but fizzled the last few eps. Kabuto is still in my favorites list though. Blade I cant seem to get into. Ryuki didnt felt like a KR show to be honest. .
List of what i definitely did like are:
Kuuga
Agito
Faiz
Kabuto
Kiva
The rest i can live without.

Cool. Most of them kind of fizzle for me. I don't think I've watched a whole series of heisei. I think I've watched the most from Agito. Just a few from Kuuga... and was interested initially in 555, Blade, and Kabuto, but never had the time to watch more.
