Yeah they are running with that samurai thing. Though if it is anything like the previous movies, they may not make it that clear who is who and a majority of the designs will blend into one another.

He really does and the fact that it is Drift probably WILL piss off A LOT of Transformer fans. I don't know why. I liked his design. Character not so much, but the design for his Hasbro toy was so freaking awesome.

I hated him when they debuted him. His mini and Roberts writing won me over though.

But man, his appearances in the previous ongoing were painful.

Oh fuck off Michael Bay:

The AUTOBOTS won a great victory when OPTIMUS PRIME defeated MEGATRON at the Battle of Chicago. MEGATRON is gone, but a new evil has taken his place. Humans have built a bot designed to be even more powerful than the fallen DECEPTICON leader. Now, the AUTOBOTS must defeat the mighty GALVATRON!

http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/en_U ... =Galvatron

If BUMBLEBEE is the most courageous TRANSFORMERS warrior, Stinger is the most devious. Built by humans and controlled by a shadowy organization, he is the evil counterpart to the heroic AUTOBOT, a DECEPTICON spy programmed for sabotage and destruction.

http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/en_U ... ot=Stinger

And judging by his wallpaper I can see why they gave Lockdown a mask:

I can't get over how the alt modes are super expensive exotic cars.

What's wrong with making Drift a modded out Silvia like he actually is in his debut or one of Nissan's newer Skylines for marketing?

Who the fuck that watches the movie will go out to buy Bugatti's and Lambo Aventador's?

At least Bumblebee Camaro was actually a buyable car despite being hideously overpriced.

Well not to defend Bay, but I do understand that part. Don't like it but understand it. It's fantasy not reality. The ones who throw money at this would not really care if having all exotics doesn't really help you to blend in. And as a kid... I'd much rather buy a toy that transforms into a cool sports car than a family sedan or something.

Plus, I like Lambos. :)
