Oh and DOOMSLAYER!!!!
has nothing to do with anything, just wanted to say it

Maybe when he says this he'll be so moved by Sam and Carly holding hands that his programming will be magically rewritten thanks to human emotion

Who knows, he might be going to fight Doomslayer in the next movie (if there is one)

So since this was Bay's final movie I wonder if Paramount will whore it out to someone else to do another reimagining now.

In the next movie Megatron moves in with his lover Starscream and have hilarious domestic problems. All of which gets solved BY LOVE.

I saw the Transformers novelization at BN tonight and out of curiosity looked at the last few pages... ugh. I love Peter David but I truly hope he had to use the dialog from the movie to write some of those scenes.

Hope the action is good cause the conclusion sure didn't seem all that good.

How does it compare to his Star Trek novels dialog? Some of that got pretty bad.

I liked a good deal of his Trek work, and I have an easier time compensating for some of it since I kind of picture what the characters are doing when I read it. The only thing I didnt like about his work was on his own universe... the captain was just... too much. I'd say the TF thing was worse (then again I picked out only the ending, perhaps it would have sucked me in if I read the whole thing and got used to the style).

I dunno man, his expository writing what goes into how Mackenzie Calhoun and his crew can bed any male or female got pretty bad. Everything he wrote ended up reading like explicitly written fanfic pairings. Badly so.

One of his Q novels got fucked up for that very reason. And another one centered around the duplicate Riker...I can keep going on.

It's only his New Frontier stuff that I didn't really like much (started off okay then...). His other work was fun to me.

Some Botcon 2011 news to report:

Masterpiece Rodmius Prime will be released to Toys R Us in a brand new mold that'll include a targetmaster and the matrix of leadership (different from the recently released one which you can make Rod strike that, "Light our darkest hour" pose. The asking price for him will be $50.

Unicron is coming exclusively to Amazon. Remember that G1 color accurate version that came out in Japan early this past year? Well Hasbro is releasing an even better accurate version come October 2011.

No new Generation toyline news, but they showed off Prime figures and some new DoTM figures that'll be coming out.

Isn't that the same one as in my posts a couple posts up?

Update: Transformers: Dark Of The Moon IMAX Version Running Time Revealed
Posted on 06-09-2011 at 12:25 PM by NIBMRatchet

It seems as though the IMAX Version of Transformers: Dark of the Moon will contain 19 minutes of additional footage than the regular version.

Previously, the official Running Time of Transformers 3 was confirmed as 134 Minutes (2 Hours and 14 Minutes).

Today, we learn that the Official IMAX Website is indicating a running time of 153 Minutes (2 Hours and 33 Minutes). This is three minutes more than Revenge of the Fallen IMAX running time, which was 2 Hours and 30 Minutes.

Update: Official Twitter Account of Michael Bay Website states that....

"Imax print of #Transformers3 has no extra footage as being reported by some web sites. TF3 is 2hrs & 22mins plus 10min credit crawl."

DOTM IMAX version was confirmed back in January.
