They also have bombs in their head of which Bumblebee actually detonates one...though it's hinted they've been disables as Skywarp can teleport again. We need the era of Starscream to end this storyline.

You know, it's been a little while since I last read any of the IDW Transformer comics.

I am so glad I stopped thanks to this thread's recent posts.

Thankfully the James Roberts storyline takes place in space far away from all that. He actually seems like a guy that gets everything TF related.

I wish that were true in the midwest. I've yet to see ANY of these.

I bought the older titles but I was never that into them.

I liked War Within and was poised to like Dreamwave's Beast Wars, then...

Liked All Hail Megatron but not much of the reboot. Haven't read the new-reboot yet.

Whoops.

Transformers Japanese Collection Replacement Discs from Shout Factory

An email has just gone out minutes ago to customers who have ordered the Transformers Japanese Collection DVD set from the Shout Factory website. This fix is in regards to subtitling errors in a few episodes in the set (though no specific errors were cited).

Transformers Prime Japan Skywarp First Look, Japanese Prime Toys Come with Arms Microns

New images have been released of the upcoming Japanese versions of the Transformers Prime mainline toys, including the (for now) Japan only Skywarp. A recolored version of the First Edition Starscream, Skywarp also appears to come with new accessories.

Also shown in the new images are Japan's gimmick for the new line - unlike the US series emphasis on MechTech on the bigger toys and standard accessories on the Deluxes, Japan's releases all feature Arms Microns, small partner figures that transform into the weapons of the main characters - so Ratchet has a laser scalpel Arms Micron, Bumblebee and Cliffjumper have partners that becomes their arm cannons, etc.

The first issue was very, very good. I like that there are only a few "classic" bots (Ratchet and Sideswipe are the only two that come to mind). Good theme and interesting art (I'm still getting used to the more animated look but Roche has some great skill going for him).

I haven't read the other number one but it seems like it would be frustrating as hell. Politics. No-Win situations. Everybody hates the good guys and the good guys do things that make you hate them. I'll have to check it out eventually but I might wait a month for the digital price to go down.

I wish Roberts had Thundercracker, they finally seemed like they'd broken him away from the Cons :(

I really need to finish up the ongoing sometime. I only read up to... issue nine? I know it wasn't very good but it's still Transformers...

That's why I'm buying this. The only tf comics I haven't bought are movie tie-ins. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment :(
