especially with a lot of the comment and actions she was making throughout the last 2 episodes. I like Carol but Rick made the right call here.

And so Rick, who had abandoned his leadership role, made the unilateral decision to exile her without even discussing it with anyone? I thought Rick didn't make those decisions anymore? What about the council? I could have seen Rick exposing her secret and letting the group decide what to do, but I think he may have been afraid some of them would have agreed with her.

Someday the castaways will learn that they'd be safer if they just shut the doors (unless the zombies here suddenly are smart enough to back off and 'pull' the doors back open).

And apparently the walkers aren't smart enough to climb out a window.
At least when it calls for a few moments of character development and Daryl chest-bumping

Rick saved her life. Tyreese would have killed her. And it's not like he left her at gunpoint. She knew he was right.

She's one of my least favorite characters, so I suppose I should be happy, but the scene didn't really feel right somehow.

Neither did the scene with Daryl and Drunkie McGee. This episode had lots of minor character stuff that felt a little too scripted. I would be freaked the fuck out by the flu thing, almost more than zombies at that point. Although zombies are still disgusting and shit.

As a whole I actually enjoyed this episode but I agree with Squid, the scene with Rick banishing Carol didn't feel right somehow. I know why he did it and I agree with his decision but the scene felt rushed and I think that it lost some of it's punch with the introduction of Sam and Ana who added an unnecessary element of humor to the moment.

Aside from that, my only other real complaint about the episode was Lizzie. Good God, I will be shocked it that girl doesn't get herself and several other people killed within the next few episodes. If I didn't know any better, I would swear that she was Andrea all over again. :smt011

Tyreese is the new Andrea (loved character who acts like an idiot).

"I'm coming with you because I have to save my sister!"

But to do that:

"I'm taking a minute to do my laundry."
"I'm going to hold onto this zombie, because yeah that's why."

Hmmmm...that's a good point. I have tried to put Tyreese in the back of my mind right now because his pouting is getting uncomfortable and unbearable. He needs to get back to the prison and massacre an entire gym filled with Walkers! Although, dude understands the importance of looking good, even in a zombie apocalypse. Tyreese is back on the market and you can't let your clothes get funky when you're out and about.

I agree. To me it’s no different than Shane killing Otis or the Governor killing those soldiers.

Is there an episode with a lower body count than this one?

Carol's argument was that it was self-defense. Maybe the actual leaders, not the guy who gave up being a leader to be a farmer, should have decided.
