There's a rumor that artist Tony DeZuniga has passed away at 71. He was hospitalized in his native Phillipines for a stroke and pnuemonia. Nothing's confirmed yet.

Tony Dezuniga tied today... Damn... Tony is the artist who got me into comics. Savage Sword Of Conan and Jonah Hex were the first two comics I ever collected. Tony is still my favorite Hex artist, and he ties with John Buscema and Rudy Nebres as my favorite conan Artist of all time...
Damn, first MCA, now Tony... its like someone is attacking my childhood.

He was a great artist. I still have some old 70s 'Adventure Comics' issues with Supergirl and Black Orchid that he drew.
