John Q. wrote:So the top 6 were all on my list, add to that Promethea, Rick Grimes and Mitchell Hundred, and i've got 9.

For the life of me i can't remember who i had at number 10.

But i think it was another DC character.

Like I said, I lost all the original lists..
All I have is a word doc with all the quotes and the excel spreadsheets..

In the nomination thread for teh Top Teams, I am gonna put a link for the old PM system so everyone can send it to me thru there.

What I can remember of my list and their placements.

22 Scott Pilgrim
49 Pete Wisdom
78 Ezekiel Sims
119 Cosmo
160 Ultimate Hawkeye
202 The Order
238 Phobos
248 Squirrel Girl
269 Cammi

I read the first twelve issues of Y:The Last Man after the deadline but if had beforehand Yorick definitely would have ended up on my list.

Also i picked up Fables Vol 1 today finally, after all the praise in this thread and elsewhere if i don't spontaneously orgasm whilst reading it it will be considered a failure

Don't get me wrong man, i ain't criticizing you, you and Misac have done some great stuff here.

I probably will use the old PM system for the teams list though.

Thanks again man, these lists are very cool.

Jackofhearts wrote:In his heyday, Spawn was big but he just ran out of steam. I can respect those who have love for Spawn (guys like Greg) but he never really clicked with me. I read some of his books, watched a couple of his cartoons and even saw the movie and it still didn't rope me in. I think the guys above him left a longer impression on people than him. For the record, I'm not insinuating that Spawn is not a big deal, he is for Image but outside of that is another matter altogether especially these days.

I don't have a problem with any of that or his position, to tell you the truth. I knew he wasn't going to be #1, I only wanted him to be #1 just to piss people off. I at times found a lot of stuff annoying of characters, like Spawn, being bashed etc simply because of past stories from years back. It wasn't just Spawn, was a buncha other characters that people never read or read years back, having no knowledge of how decent the books did get but of course, why try them?

But whatever. Hellboy's #1. I'm freakin' excited about that. Thank goodness. And Drake is #2! Sheesh! I'd say highly deserving also.
