I didn't even understand until someone explained it to me later that the human transformer was apparently supposed to be an homage to the Pretender toy line.

And what was up with those motorcycles? I know that the pink one was Arcee. They call her by name and everyone knew by now that she was supposed to be in the first movie. But who the heck were the other two? Or the one that transformed into a Corvette concept car? Or the Decepticon Audi R8? There were so many unnamed transformers in this movie I didn't even care what happened to most of them. They were like Star Trek red shirts.

The Corvette was Sideswipe. I think either Ironhide said his name or he said it himself.

The wife and I saw it last night. I enjoyed it while she fell asleep.

Bumblebee taking out Rampage and Ravage was pretty cool.

While it had quite a few faults, it is a good summer flick that has robots fighting in it. Always a plus.

Bring on Transformers 3!
