Does this cause you guys any cognitive dissonance when you create this narrative that Zimmerman did absolutely nothing to warrant an annoyed or even angry reply that just escalated? Instead, it always has to be that Martin was just a psychopathic thug who brutally attacks anyone in his visual range.

I've seen fights start over some pretty stupid shit. Hell I've been in fights because of stupider shit.

are we forgetting about the whole thing where Trayvon randomly beat up a bus driver and bragged about it?

Or his Twitter feeds where he talks about an awful lot of bad stuff, including how to make 'lean'. Given what he was holding (in the rain, no less), that may explain his aggression.

Where are you seeing these reports of Martin beating up a bus driver? I've googled it and can only come up with some tweet someone made to him.

All the times Trayvon supposedly beating up a bus driver has been mentioned on this thread, and there is literally no proof this incident ever actually happened?

I don't remember where exactly i read it initially, but the article i read way back when laid it all out in a pretty specific and convincing way. Apparently its pretty in line with how he was percieved or at least wanted people to percieve. Allegedly he was a drug dealer as well. I know most of this is irrelevant, but i don't think its something we should just not consider when trying to paint a picture of what happened. just my thought

Zimmerman caught lying to the court, yikes. His credibility is now gone. I think this episode damages him significantly.

Likely, his legal team can still raise reasonable doubt. But they have a much tougher job now than they did before.

So what you are saying is every drug dealer is violent and will attack someone???

We shouldn't discount things that very well may not have happened when trying to paint a picture of what happened? :shock:
