Funny how we don't see any media outrage over cases like this that happen every day.

Stephen Martin, a 31-year-old runner from Santa Clara, died Friday from injuries he suffered in an attack shortly after he and his friends, dressed as troll dolls, had posed for photographs with another group on race day, May 20, in Golden Gate Park. The San Francisco Police Department posted the photos Monday on its website in the hopes someone could identify the suspect or members of the group Martin had met.

Reporting this might offend some minority somewhere though.

Was this kid attacking him or anything? He left his house to confront him and was no longer protected by the castle law I'd imagine. If the kid was wailing on him "MMA style" I'd probably think they were more related but...

I'm sure his defense is going to go nowhere and he will rightfully go to prison.

I didn't make it that far, but that's funny. You never get the racial bias angle in minority on white crimes, just 'random attack', 'wrong place at the wrong time', and other assorted bullshit.

It's REALLY jarring when you follow that with a story like this that doesn't mention race (but shows a picture of the defendant. The video of the victim's daughter's testimony blurs her out pretty good).

I like the ones where they show white hands in handcuffs and then fail to mention the race of the criminal. You can usually find the race if you go to the local papers, in those cases it's never a white person. CNN is notorious for doing this. If a white person does something terrible, you ALWAYS get the race and a pic, and assumptions.
