Maybe, or is it editorial playing it safe?

I think the comic companies are being very conservative at the moment, since the market has been slow. Say what you will about the 90's, but the inflated bubble that was the collector's market did allow a lot of smaller characters to get recognized.

For the most part, though, I agree. Look at the Incredible Hercules. I really thought the idea for this book was laughable. It's a good book, though, and that's mainly due to the writing. The gorgeous art doesn't hurt either.:)

Man, I'm not a DC guy, but I thought that Trinity, while focusing on Supes, Wonder Woman, and the Batman would have follow up stories involving other characters in the DCU? I'm not saying they aren't playing it safe or that I'll buy it, but that it's a little more all encompassing in nature.

Eh. I'm a GL reader, a JSA reader, a Legion reader (you've just gotta support Shooter) and an Action Comics reader. I also get Nightwing for some reason. I think I just dropped Teen Titans but I have high hopes that Titans will replace it (even with the writer). I... think that's about it.

I come back to DC every once in a while to see if anything sticks, but Final Crisis of three Legions probably isn't enough to get me to buy every tie in like Infinite Crisis was. Damn you Infinite Crisis! :(

Wow, that's pretty much what I get from DC. I'm sticking with Teen Titans, though. It hurts sometimes, but I still pick it up. Instead of Action, I get All-Star.:)
