I really enjoyed last night's episode. Lots of come uppance was had. I would have settled for this as season finale.

Crotchlight aside, I've liked this whole season.

This episode was a vast improvement over the past 3-4 episodes but a few things did still bother me.

Alcide need to start running for the hills. He just got rid of the terrible storyline that he was burdened with this season, he does NOT need Sookie sneaking in and stinking things up for him all over again. Speaking of Sookie, last week when she was practically throwing herself at Sam, didn't she imply that she has very little fairy power left? If she was forced to use that power on Bill this week does that mean that she is "normal" now? If so, how was she able to read Arlene's mind during the funeral? If not, how much power does Sookie have? Are they just going to keep dragging it out, allowing her to have just enough power to do whatever she needs to do until the series ends?

I thought that one of the points of this season was to reduce the size of the cast but I can't help feeling they are going about it in the wrong direction. Introducing more vampires and allowing them to walk away is a big mistake. I don't care about James or Violet, I care more about characters that have already been introduced and are being neglected because of characters like James and Violet. Concentrate on the existing cast.

Me too. It really felt like a season finale.

So I'm kinda wondering what they have in store for the next episode/season finale...

I thought last season they said that she couldn't use her power constantly or waste it. Also, it was whenever she created that energy ball (that was all her power) to kill a vampire that would leave her normal. I'm assuming using her power to transport herself or someone else isn't all that draining. Or maybe being in Fairyland and/or near Warlow re-powers her :smt017

Season finale's on now.

It's going to be hard to top last week's, IMO.

LOL'ed at the Eric scene (but I knew it'd happen at some point to someone).

Also... Sam's mayor?!? Promoting a "monogamous feeding relationship" with the vampires? Bill's a best selling author? A clean cut Alceide is hooking up with Sookie? Jason's horribly pussy whipped? Arlene bought and renamed Merlottes'? Tara's mom is apologizing and is offering blood to her now? Jessica is offering protection (even if they don't want it) and Andy wants to shoot her... (this one I can kinda see). Bill wants to be "the vampire in Sookie's life" and Alceide isn't good enough

1/8th of vampires have Hep V? And they're all converging on the townspeople?

Crazy 6 month gap...

And no mention of a baby (but I'm more than okay with that)...

this season was right up there with this series worst:

sookie is just stupid(er) this season.

sam was basically a male version of sookie with his stupidity

maggufin fairy godfather conveniently warped to sookie to warn her about warlow, gets banished by warlow only to return from that other dimension to save the day only for us to never see him again.

jason was in love with jessica so much he went to the death camp to free her and has now totally devoted himself to violet overnight.

the entire warlow storyline....uh......more random character turns than a russo booked wrestling show.

pretty shitty way to kill eric if that's how they go...if he lives...its a pretty shitty cliffhanger.
