Exactly! It's comparable to just coming into a thread just to make snide comments...

Good to see you finally growing up :D

one is fun, the other takes months of time and energy and a lot of money.

Both include a good amount of bitching.

I'm okay with all of this.

serious question though, whats more "grown up" : advocating litigious action against people who are working low-paying customer service jobs, or realizing that sometimes shitty stuff happens and dealing with it.

You're not Batman, not everyone has to avenge wrongdoings in their life.

No need to get snappy, just having a bit of fun.

either way, its funny to see you of all people talking about maturity level.

You don't sue the employee's unless they do something especially egregious, you sue the company, so your point is moot.

I've witnessed first hand TSA fucking up and have heard enough other horror stories, and obviously some others have too and I don't know whether you have or not. This is not the kind of "shitty stuff" I need to put up and your "suck it and deal with it" philosophy blows goats.

Serious answer.

Also I've already had my obligatory Dairydead apology thread back at the old 'Rama, so I shouldn't be due for another for a few years.

companies are compromised of people, and if you sue TSA for a customer service issue, its almost guaranteed to come back down on individual employees, or at the very least certain parts of the company, compromised of people.

like i said, someone who mocks someone for apologizing shouldn't be lecturing people about maturity levels. That's like grade A middle school bully shit right there.

Statistically it's with a thread that starts with "I'm sorry..."

Because you're constantly creating situations were you need to apologize i.e like coming into a thread where I posted something about the TSA, then related a bad experience my family had with them and then suddenly I'm Batman :smt102

What the fuck kind of sense does that make?

I cannot fathom why anyone would think being Batman is a bad thing.

Observation:

Earlier this week, I flew through San Francisco International Airport, Chicago O'Hare Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, and Washington-Reagan-National-OMGWTFBBQ Airport in a 48 hour period. I did not see any backscatter or other machines in use at any of them, and while the TSA was screening passengers at random, they did not appear to be implementing the more egregious pat downs.

I wonder if they're quietly backing off of such measures.
