Fortunately for Steve Jobs' family, he faced his death like a man. Jobs didn't want to "languish" either, so he opted out of conventional treatment, made damn sure his affairs were in order and fought until the bitter end.
Too bad tony was so fucking squeamish about his own mortality.

If it were me, I'd have wanted to talk to my family and spend some time before making the plunge, but don't blame him for dealing with it how he wanted to.
I'm sure tony had that conversation and I'm equally sure they gave him they're complete blessing. Then again, why all the suicide notes in his car? I guess he didn't have that conversation after all. Now his latest wife and their two young sons are left alone in this world but I'm sure they understand.
In fact I bet they're relieved that their father would rather not fight for every last moment he could have with them because he couldn't cope with the inevitable.
