Those sophomoric Teen Titans type of cutaways ruined Spider-man for me. It's X-Men: Evolution without the mutants. At least Young Justice attempts to be somewhat serious.

Bender: the YJ team was under cover and a teenager riding a motorcycle is less likely to draw attention than a teenager in a skin tight red and yellow suit travelling at mach 5, breaking the goddamn sound barrier and shit.

Cat-Scratch: the team does roll out quite a lot in either civilian clothes or in their black "stealth" costumes. Superboy doesn't even have a costume; just jeans and a t-shirt with an "S" on it.

You're both right and both wrong, now shut the fuck up and argue about Spider-Man instead.

Isn't that Superboy's costume in John's Teen Titans?

It's like putting a super-powered guy into jeans and a t-shirt and calling it a costume. Shit, you can go out right now and buy a regular old t-shirt with a Superman "S" on it. Then, through on some jeans and fight crime in that shit. Is it a costume, or just street clothes that you punch people in?

I don't hate it...it's just not a costume is all. Works well for some characters.

Just finished watching these. My wife absolutely loathed the humor of the show.

It reeks of laziness. Same with Superboy's costume
