It may be acceptable if the characters in question weren't trying to have a secret identity which if I recall correctly both (the comic version) Superboy and Wonder Girl were trying to have.

God I love the artwork in this show. Such great shading and the proportions are better then Spectacular Spider-Man but god please stop with all the imaginary cut scenes! Even the funny ones like "Did anyone else see this ending with me getting a jetpack?" are just too much.

Why can't they just make Spidey funny period? Why do they need visual cutscenes to make them be funny?

Doomed was a better episode, almost bearable.

I agree with Bender they need to phase out that junk though, it's stupid.

Someone mentioned it earlier, this Spider-man is closer to a deadpool interpretation than a Spidey interpretation. The cut a way gags, the breaking of the fourth wall, the enhanced stupidity. So far this is a kid friendly version of the character deadpool.
