What makes you say that? Personally I'm indifferent to it.

Preacher says to tell you you're wrong. And Hitman says hi. :)

You guys can name everything you think is good that he's written and it's going to get a big ol' "meh" from me. I wasted WAY too much money on Ennis' comics before I realized that I fundamentally hated the same story that he was recycling over and over.

Go you one further: Tim Burton is a shitty director, who accidentally had a great movie in Beetlejuice, and hasn't done anything worthwhile since.

And the fucker still owes me an apology for Planrt of the Apes.

Personal tastes? I find it ugly. I love his composition, he knew how to frame a scene like a master, but the actual art is ugly to me.

And I say the only thing in there even partially ok is Batman, and that's despite Burton. Mostly because of the Joker, and that wasn't Burton; that was Jack playing Jack-In-Makeup.

I like his art. It's the people who try to copy him that is the problem.

I am not saying you can't disagree with me or that you have to be happy with everything written. Nor am I saying that you cannot be displeased. I am not calling anyone out for anything so please do not take my comments personally. What I am saying is that those, persons unspecified, who spend their time whining are not making a change. Speaking out is one thing, but whining is different. Once again, these companies understand money more than they do online opinions.

Oh, they understand online opinions quite a lot more than you think. I'm living proof. 8)

I've seen and heard plenty from the creators that our words DO mean a lot. Gail Simone was reinstated as Batgirl writer pretty much because of the Internet Backdraft that resulted from her firing. And some have speculated that part of Morrison's Multiversity #1 was a response to online attacks, as well.

Even more to the point, online opinions can affect what people spend money on, after all, since many people put a lot of stock in what others think. Isn't that what you're truly afraid of when it comes to negative opinions, that you or others' opinions about what you like might be affected if you see that someone else does NOT like it??

Negative opinions, especially negative opinions about comic books, are so common place that you really have to wonder whether or not they actually have the power that you believe that they do. Most people that I know are more likely to be swayed by positive opinions than they are negative ones.

Has any of the positive opinions you've ever espoused about comics gotten you put in a comic written by the Executive Editor or Co-Publisher of the company?? Just sayin'! :smt102 8)

I'm pretty sure that people tend to remember negative opinions more than positive ones. And if the former had no power, why would people like Gavincantdraw be avoiding them and trying to dissuade people from espousing them?? What are these people afraid of, hmm??

Have any of your negative opinions gotten Dan Didio fired in the decade you've been calling for it? For that matter, it's failed to do anything except get you used as a joke BY Dan? And that's the legacy you're trumpeting? :P
