Ok, question for you XBoxers out there. With Gold membership it appears you get Crackdown. Last month it was Assassin's Creed 2 which I had already.

Is this On Demand or a download that I can play offline?

Just checked that this weekend and you can play offline. I didn't get ACII cause I have the disc but I started Crackdown. It's pretty over the top fun.

And it's actually two games a month. You have a few days to get Crackdown and then they'll replace it with another one.

Looks like I'll have to check it out tonight. Do you know if it came with the DLC?

I doubt that, at least ac 2 was just the original game.

Sheesh make up your minds

Xbox One No Longer Requires Kinect to Function

In addition to reversing its used game DRM policies for Xbox One, Microsoft has revealed that the console will no longer require Kinect to function. In our latest Ask Microsoft Anything, Xbox Corporate Vice President Marc Whitten revealed that Xbox One owners will be able to use all of the console's core functions regardless of whether the new Kinect sensor is connected. Naturally, many of the tentpole features of the new Kinect, such as player identification, voice commands, etc., will be disabled as a result, but players will still be able to play games and access entertainment content.

Well I'm downloading it while I'm at work. I left it on overnight so I could download it. Of course, my connection dropped at 41% :x

You know I have a problem. I am pre-ordering an X-Box One but no idea what game to get. Most of the ones I would like, Destiny and Titanfall do not come out until post release.

Well that'll limit my buying One for a while. I'm not going to give up my collection of games. I've got too many used games I've bought that I haven't touched yet. :D

Ok, now I feel guilty.

There's almost never any good games available for a console at launch.

I agree that Watch Dogs and Ryse look like your best bets. The latter actually looks like it could be a lot of fun.
