I haven't actually looked at the South Park game at all because it's been YEARS since I've even thought about watching the show.

When I was really into the show, I remember buying the Chef quiz show game for the Dreamcast. It... wasn't very good but the Simultaneous Lovin' song is always hilarious.

I'm almost finished with the Ezio Trilogy of Assassin's Creed. Revelations is my favorite of the three but they've all been fun. Constantinople is one of those cities that's always fascinated the hell out of me (along with the entire Byzantine Empire but this game takes place AFTER that era) so it's a joy just running around the city and seeing the sites. Den Defense is awful but if you train up your Assassins and keep a low profile, you can pretty much avoid all but the tutorial. Otherwise, it pretty well refines everything from the first three games and adds a much more active world. Love the dust and smoke effects.

But I miss the horse. :(

I picked up Garden Warfare for the X-Box One which I hope to play soon with my son.

What has been funny is I'll go downstairs to play some Lego Movie and no more than five minutes later my daughter comes down, see's what I'm doing grabs a controller and drops in. She loves Uni-Kitty and pretty much only plays few versions of the character. Now, we have gone to her account and started playing the game so she has her own progress.

My son has moved for a time off Minecraft and on to Terraria which is more of a side-scrolling Minecraft. Seems like a lot of fun he playing it on the 360 and on the PC via Steam. Though hearing this "I killed the Eye of cthulhu" as the dinner table out of a nine year-old and then having my daughter, six, goes yeah "We beat the eye of cthulhu" was not something I expect.

I really do not believe that is the age I wanted to introduce Lovecraft this early on in their age.

bkthomson wrote:Ok, call this a game transition. . Almost completed Lego Movie game for X-Box One and then moving over to the 360 for 'South Park: Stick of Truth!' That game is in the mail today, so cannot wait to play it. Not a big SP watcher but this game just looks like so much fun!

I'm just a couple of hours in, but it's been a blast so far. The humor is obviously the big draw, but there is a solid game underneath. It reminds me a lot of the Mario & Luigi games.

:D

I was writing that on error sheets last night at work. It took me a couple before I saw it. Then, I laughed and shared.

I decided against being an early adopter on Titanfall due to...

... a complete lack of money. :(

It kind of sucks because I finished Assassin's Creed: Revelations this past weekend and don't even have the extra twenty to pick up Assassin's Creed III. So I'm in a weird in-between place with the video games. We have some money incoming but it's too tight right now to spend on "luxuries."

I'll be tweaking by this next weekend.

I skipped on Titanfall too, but like I said before when you do buy it let me know and I'll go get it.
