not really. I just used werewolves cause I had a really interesting take on them.

They were being hunted down, and were becoming a dying race. all that remained were a few in Europe and a small nomad tribe in asia.

A boat lands on a dock. A ramp extends from the side of the boat. Men and women and children file out. The children are excited, clutching their parents's hands and pointing at the imposing figure ahead of them.

"She's so beautiful!" one of the children exclaim.

"She's over 120 years old, honey." Her mother tells her.

"Wow. That's older than you, mom!" The child replies.

Mixed with the parents and children, no one even notices the dark haired man moving among them. No one notices that he avoids eye contact with everyone. No one notices that he never looks up, and one would have to look pretty close to see the blond roots at the base of that brown hair.

"It was stupid of me to come here", he thinks. "They may anticipate this move."

The crowd moves to the base of the statue and file in as the dark-haired man separates himself and moves towards the trees a the statue's edge. Under the cover of the trees, the man finally looks up at the copper statue.

"You knew I had to come." The man whispers.

"Yes you did." States a voice from the trees.

The dark-haired man never turns. He never flinches or betrays a moment of surprise.

"It's been a long time, Colonel." Says the dark-haired man.

"Yes it has, Captain." the Colonel replies.

"I'm no longer a Captain. You know that."

"And I'm no longer a Colonel, but old labels die hard."

The Captain sits at the base of the tree, taking a sandwich out of his pack and offering it to the Colonel. The Colonel merely holds up his hand to refuse.

"She's beautiful, isn't she?" the Captain says, biting into his sandwich.

The Colonel doesn't reply. He merely stares up at the statue as the Captain continues to eat his lunch. After he finishes the sandwich, he stands and dusts himself off.

"So when do we start, Colonel?"

The Colonel reaches into his pocket and pulls out a metallic object. He hands it to the Captain, turns and begins to walk away.

"Tomorrow, Captain. Today is her day, but tomorrow... the war starts again."

The Captain looks down at his hand to see the metallic 'A' sitting in his palm.

"I'll see you soon, Colonel."

If Scott wants help and if you're cool with it Jon, I'd be willing to act as co-host of this here writing thing?

And I'm tenacious, so I'd bug the fuck out of everyone until they contributed!
