That's what I am saying though. That damn book was like the most special book in the universe and as such had it's own laws. I have never ordered anything that even bordered on that sort of craziness.

If I ordered any other thing and it came before the release date, no big deal. But not that goddamn book.....no not THAT goddamn book.

Every single thing has a release date. I believe some of the big video game companies have sued certain retail chains for releasing products before release date at some point. When there is as much hype as there was for HP7, people were really cautious about breaking street date because of the high profile would make it pretty obvious who sold it to whom.
