It's definitely the best one.

I'm about halfway through Catching Fire, it's a bit lame that she's having to go through another Hunger Games, but hey.

A little more than halfway through Storm of Swords now.

Still good. With the exception of Bran's kind of getting dull, each POV chapter has been very interesting. With the previous books I would always find a couple POV's, like Dany's or someone else that were just completely uninteresting to me.

Oh she is the it author for young adults now, still it is a good book and quick read.

If you have a Kindle you can read it for free with their lending program.

The Blood King by Gail Z Martin second book of The Chronicles of the Necromancer series - sure it's filled with pretty much every cliche from much better books in the fantasy genre, but there's something about it coming from a female writer that makes it more digestible. I'd call it perfect for newbies to epic fantasy fiction.

The first one is good. They get progressively worse, though, in my opinion. It's interesting to read this kind of story from a more feminine perspective, but I kept wanting the story to go in different directions than it did. I kept thinking to myself, that's not how a dude would have had that scene turn out. I will say that the books can be shockingly violent at times, so there's that.

Still, even though they got "worse" none were bad. I didn't regret reading them.

How about some non-fiction?

This is a book about ultra marathon runners, and is especially about a tribe of indigenous Mexican runners who can outrun the worlds top ultra marathoners. This book will make you want to get out and run no matter how fat and lazy you are. It's a great read.

Here's a blurb about it from the author's website:

Full of incredible characters, amazing athletic achievements, cutting-edge science, and, most of all, pure inspiration, Born to Run is an epic adventure that began with one simple question: Why does my foot hurt? In search of an answer, Christopher McDougall sets off to find a tribe of the world's greatest distance runners and learn their secrets, and in the process shows us that everything we thought we knew about running is wrong.
