It is completely enthralling stuff.

How was The Graveyard Book? That's on my short list, right now.

Totally not what I expected, but great Neil Gaiman

I'm still on my Harry Dresden kick, and I can't see myself reading anything else until I've finished the whole series. That said, The Graveyard Book will be the first book I read once I'm done with Dresden.

I'm thinking about trying about delving in the whole Harry Dresden thing, I just finished reading nearly every chuck palahniuk book, and I'm ready for a change which means sci-fi-ville here I come.

Next up for me is:

I'm 1/3 the way through The Stand and absolutely loving it. One of my favourite books, even at these early days.

I'm also reading Gaiman's "Smoke and Mirrors" at my girlfriend's recommendation but it's only ok

Trust me, you'll be glad you did. It's just such a great series.

I listened to The Graveyard Book as an audiobook while commuting to my Work Placement, it's fantastic, and the audio version is very good too, Neil Gaiman reads it himself, and he has a lovely reading voice.

The Stand is awesome! So is the comic.

The last book I read was David Peace's 1974, it's Yorkshire Noir, the Ellroy of the Dales etc, and it was OK, unrelentingly grim, and rather confusing and feverish, but there were moments of genius in there. It's been adapted into a TV series on Channel 4, and I feel the TV version is much clearer and straightforward.

I'm about half-way through The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King. Good stuff, The Dark Tower.

The Dark Tower is great stuff, a really impressive world.

I think my favourite is the next one, Wizard and Glass, but they are all good.

I'm not reading anything at the moment, but I have a ton of books waiting to be read. I'm not sure what I'm going to start next.

Loved loved loved that book, read it in one day the second it came out.
I am currently reading 'Let the Right One in' by John Ajvide Lindqvist which is maybe one of the most fucked up books I have read in some time... next on the hit parade is a zombie novel called 'Eden'

I have been slowly making my way through this book reading it in between the other books I read, not that I don't like it I just haven't been able to submerge myself into it.
