I stumbled upon this article and found it interesting.

I tend to notice things like this when I'm at the bar.

Scruff and a bit heavier sounds about right.

Hmm, I'm not a drinker of alcohol. But if I were, I'd probably order a screwdriver. But then, what do I know? I don't drink.

I don't drink much, but when I do, its always something sweet. Prickly Pear margarita, Sex on the beach...stuff like that...

I don't really like the taste so I gotta mask it with artificial flavors and corn syrup and whatever other junk is in liquor hehe!;)

So, I'm adventurous and I care about the taste of what I drink?

That's good to know.

I'm a Rum & Coke man, and what they say couldn't be further from the truth.

Well, I'll give your scruffy, but I'm NOT generally considered "heavier" at all.

I also am an experienced drinker who knows my way around a liquor cabinet.

And finally:

"Choosing an import beer means that you do care about the flavor and taste of your drink. You may drink it slower so you can savor it, but your attention to detail often seems to carry over into your appearance, in a good way. Ordering a craft beer means that you are adventurous. There are some great craft beers and some really bad craft beers; you're willing to take a chance on something that may not be very good. People who order these beers tend to be critical or discerning."

Same here. I'm also a 'craft-beer' man, which means my two regular drinks say opposite things about me.

I usually just drink water or coffee, so it had nothing to say about my tastes. :?

I'm somewhere between the craft and import guy.

But on Christmas Eve, I went to my friends' parents house on Long Island (it's 2 blocks from my Dad's house) and they had the cheap crappy beer that I hate, but they also bought a 6 pack or Blue Point just because they knew I was coming. I felt kind of guilty about that.
