What I Have Been Reading Recently

Here is an update on some of what I been reading recently:

Mega Man #14:

This episode was a pretty good read even though I skipped over #13 before it due to the fact that I originally didn't care for where the new arc was heading with the Emerald Spears terrorist group as villains. Things pretty much changed when theybrought back the Mega Man 2 robot masters who were destroyed in the last arc and the introduction of the Mega Man 3 robot masters, starting with Shadow Man and Magnet Man.. Overall, I will check out the last 2 stories of this current arc due to the side-story with Dr. Wily and his robot masters while skipping over the main storyline as I still could care less about.

Stan Lee's Mighty 7 #1 & 2:

The first 2 issues of this mini-series is good fun if you can excuse the comic book cliches and all. The premise is somewhat predictable and the main characters come off as a mix of the Avengers and X-Men combined-don't even get me started on the villains by the way. As I said before, it may not be the best of Stan Lee's work, but he reminds you why he is one of the founding fathers of the comicbook genre.

AVX #5:

This issue was pretty entertaining despite the Wrestlemania approach to both sides. The high point of this would be Cyclops, Colossus, Namor, Emma and Magick becoming the Power Rangers versions of the Phoenix. If no one minds the complete character assassination of the X-Men, then this is a book that is worth checking out for entertainment value

There are more to come but this is what I have at the moment.
