EDIT: Ugh for some reason I thought the title of the squirt story was in the eye. My bad. Read the rest anyway...
Mumbai doctors remove 12.5cm-long worm from man's eyePK Krishnamurthy, 75, felt "itching and irritation" in his right eye, but could scarcely have dreamed of the cause.
When doctors at Fortis hospital examined him, they found the worm and removed it. He is now feeling better.
The case was "extremely unusual" and he was lucky the worm had not ended up in his brain, the hospital's medical director, Dr S Narayani, told the BBC.
She said the worm had been sent to a microbiology laboratory for further tests.
(12.5 cm is 4.9 in for us 'mericans)

I'm glad the worm is feeling better.

Dirty Book Stores 101: never look through the glory-hole to see what or who is on the other side. You never know what could be coming through from the other end.

That's not the worm you were hoping to see

If it's 4.9" then why are they sending it to a microbiologist? It's big enough to be seen.

Dunno, its a lab they stated, not a person though. Maybe a helminthologist works there?

I looked at the pic. Now I understand a little better how they didn't notice a worm. It does kind of blend in.
