Anyways

Crazy, Stupid, Love - Very fun movie with a full cast of likable and believable characters. Ryan Gosling was hilarious and I'm more and more in love with Emma Stone the more stuff I see her in. Marisa Tomei caught me very off guard with her character and I found her funny in a lot of parts. But Julianne Moore and Steve Carell are definitely where the film shines. The Twilight line from Moore was hysterical. Watching them attempt to connect with each other while being seprated was touching in a lot of parts. Very good movie.

Sucker Punch - Dear freakin' FUCK! This movie was AWFUL! I had a little more over 30 minutes left of the film and I just couldn't go on. Wow. Jeez freakin' Louise!

Yeah, I agree with you on Sucker Punch. The sad part is that it could have been a good movie if they didn't take a U-turn with the direction of the story-plus, it felt more like a videogame than an actual plot.

Bridesmaids - This movie was hilarious. Glad to have finally watched it. Great characters and all worked really well together. I was quite surprised to see Rose Bryne in this due to the character she played. Not a character I'm used to seeing her play so that was a nice surprised. All the leads had great chemistry together as an ensemble and all were funny in their own right. Loved how Wiig worked with the men in her love life, the cop being a very fun and charming character. I just had an overall good time watching this, laughed out loud so many times.

Saw Brave it was ok not one of Pixar better films.

It did help Pixar to rebound from Cars 2 though.

Cars 2 was more engaging than Brave. Also the theme was more applicable to teenage girls than a more general audience.

Just watched American Werewolf in London on Netflix, been a very long time since I had watched it and I was just in the mood for an old werewolf flick for some reason. For a movie made in 1981 it holds up pretty well, especially the effects done for the werewolf make up and all that.

Just saw this last night and I totally agree. I really liked it. Even if it's a chick flick.

Fair enough. I just wished that the reviews for Cars 2 had been better though.

You know, I never look at films as chick flicks or not. A film is a film as long as its enjoyable.

Right on. I'll let the 4 chicks that I watched it with it know that too since that's what they all called it.
