WELL??? What did you think?

I've been watching 1970s British TV shows, I'm almost done with Sky--have you seen that? I'm thinking of watching Children Of The Stones next, until my UFO set gets here.

It's an odd one, a lot of the ideas in it are good, but the lack of budget really fucks with the film. The 'epic' final battle between humanity and the apes seems to be between 20 humans and 30 apes.

I did like seeing the set-up for the mutants in Beneath, and of course the immortal 'APE HAS KILLED APE', but yeah, it looks so cheap in parts.

If the upcoming Dawn Of... can take some of the story elements used here and give them more money, then it should be good.

Haven't seen any of those TV shows.

Turbo was better than I expected a movie about "a snail with superspeed racing Indy cars" to be.

I liked the eye of the tiger mashup song in the soundtrack.

Wednesday we watched Moonrise Kingdom. it was breathtaking, easily Anderson's best film to date.
Yesterday, we watched Black Swan, it was odd - compelling and all - but odd.
