I watched the original version of King Kong last night. I haven't had a chance to see this movie since I was a kid, but it was WAY better than the awful remake that Peter Jackson made.

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II - Not a fan of the idea that Godzilla has a second brain in his hip or that Rodan is constantly referred to as Radon although I always appreciate how mustache twirlingly evil the military is portayed in most Godzilla films. They cause more damage than Godzilla himself but somehow Godzilla, who is a force of nature, is supposed to be the bad guy. :smt011

Elysium - Not bad but not as good as District 9. Needed to flesh out the characters a little more and even though it was almost 2 hours, it went too fast.

My #1 favorite movie of all time. I'm still amazed such magic was possible in 1933.

I recently had a 'Die Hard Marathon' (Yes, I went 27-years of my life without seeing a single Die Hard film). So I suppose the LAST film I watched was Die Hard 5.

+1 for the original King Kong. What a classic.

The movie I saw most recently was Superman: The Movie (the original Richard Donner/Christopher Reeve flick). Damn that is still such a great movie.

I really liked that movie as well. Danny Huston is an amazing character actor (and voice actor, too!)

Did you like the first one?

Wasn't the last Die Hard shit? Ugh, hated that movie.
