An Adventure in Space and Time.

It was cool seeing the story behind the first man to play Dr Who. It was also a really great film.

Allan Quartermain and the Temple of Skulls -Very cheaply made (budget of $50,000) but not too bad version of King Solomon's Mines. At least it's not as bad as the Richard Chamberlain versions.

Image
Frankenstein vs the Creature From Blood Cove - Speaking of cheaply made, here's a film that makes a Star Trek fan film look like Avatar. And having Butch Patrick, Lloyd Kaufman, and Ron Jeremy make cameos ain't gonna make things look professional. They probably paid them in Red Vines instead of money.

Oblivion.

It was okay. Predictable, though. I wonder if the movie would have been better if the commercials for it hadn't spoiled some of the most important plot reveals.

The credits said it was based on a graphic novel, so I searched around to see if the comic was available, only to find it had never actually been finished. Can you really claim that your movie is based on a comic if that comic isn't finished? Well, I guess Akira did. But apparently the director (also the writer of the comic) always intended that it would be a movie, and the comic was just an elaborate storyboarding process for what would eventually be the finished movie product.

He also did Tron: Legacy, apparently.

Was amusing to see Jamie Lannister (under-)used in this flick.

The Starving Games

Spoof film about... well... The Hunger games.

It's a Sunday and I wanted to watch a film that didn't require many brain cells to be used :P :P

I laughed at a few parts. Deffo need to have watch The Hunger Games to understand most of the jokes.
