I was. Precious was an excellent movie. Lee Daniels brought out a very gritty, real take for that movie. Just the way it was shot was fantastic. I never saw The Paperboy, but the previews seemed to really follow that same gritty example.

When this movie started, I was confused as to why were watching something on Lifetime. That's the quality of the filming. The acting and script weren't any better.

It was really good up till the point that my suspitions were true about him meeting Obama. I don't care if the real guy liked him, he is not a coronation of the achievments of the civil rights movement in any way. MLK would despise him

I think you're missing the point. It's less about that and more about that's what real life Eugene Allen (who Cecil Gaines is based on) did.

Feel free to spoil me, what happens when he meets him? Also the liberal icons were to much portrayed as icons, JFK chasing hookers/mistresses would had been fun.

Charlie Countryman - I found it to be pretty damn enjoyable. Evan Rachel Wood was amazing. Shia gives one of his better performances.

Saw Nebraska. Given the sheer volume of movies I've seen at the theater, I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner, but we walked out halfway through. Utterly boring.

The Trip. The one with Steve Coogan and Rob Bryden, not the one with Jack Nicholson. Extremely funny.

Captain Phillips - I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would and it went in a couple of different directions than I thought. Not my favorite performance by Tom Hanks but still strong and I can certainly see why Barkhad Abdi was nominated for his role.

Saw the new Walter Mitty tonight. Not very good, but the friend who asked me to go really liked it.

Black Hawk Down. Great flick as always and it was mind blowing to see all the rising stars back in the day.

- Tom Hardy
- "Bobby" from Cougartown
- Dude from CSI:NY with glasses
- Legolas
- The Pivert, although he's been around for ages
- Phil Dunphy was the biggest shock, he even got to make a joke
