I was. Precious was an excellent movie. Lee Daniels brought out a very gritty, real take for that movie. Just the way it was shot was fantastic. I never saw The Paperboy, but the previews seemed to really follow that same gritty example.
When this movie started, I was confused as to why were watching something on Lifetime. That's the quality of the filming. The acting and script weren't any better.
It was really good up till the point that my suspitions were true about him meeting Obama. I don't care if the real guy liked him, he is not a coronation of the achievments of the civil rights movement in any way. MLK would despise him
