I feel guilty for reading the book years ago and not liking it.

Really liked it. The animation is superb, the voice casting spot on and direction excellent.

The Bleeding - Vinnie Jones as leader of a vampire gang, Michael Madsen as the unconving priest since Richard Burton in Night of the Iguana, and Michael Mathias becoming the whiter man's Vin Diesel. He has a bald head, big muscular bod, and a monotone voice to cover his lack of acting ability. Even have a Fast n Furious moment with a camero chasing a big truck.

Image

Death Racers - probably the worst movie I've ever seen. Insane Clown Posse and a bunch of other shallow gene pool scum race to kill as many people as possible in a future distopian US. There's better acting in porn movies. Produced by a company best known for some of the worst Syfy movies, and directed by a guy who used to as a make up person for Troma. Though Troma is better quality than this festering pile of rancid junk.Think this movie gave me hepatitis.

Prometheus. It was okay... not bad... but felt depressed afterward.

I watched most of The Adventures of Tintin, but that movie was visually exhausting and I still find mo-cap animation kinda creepy.

Great animation on Tin Tin, but didn't think much on the overall story.

Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy was ok ish,.......................................

Just watched Rio.

It was my birthday yesterday and for the week or so leading up to it my five year old kept assuring me that I was really going to like what she got me. Lo and behold: Rio, a movie she's been wanting to see for some time. Not a bad movie. I told her she could watch it whenever she liked, that way we don't have to keep up the pretense that its my movie (not that I told her that).

The Hill (1965) and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974)

Both are exceptional!

Saturday the 14th - such an underrated movie, Benjamin and Prentiss are perfect married comedy duo. And leave us not forget the early 80's hotness that was Kari Michaelsen and the bathub scene. :smt007

Man, I haven't seen that in years. I remember really liking it, though. Think I should rent that soon.
