Marc Silvestri? Sil-Ves-tree.

Jack Kamen
Amanda Conner
Dick Dillin
Mark Heike
Milton Caniff

And several others who have been mentioned. People like Balent are just not good enough as comics artists for me to list. A great good girl artist has to be a great artist first. There's a lot of good pin-up artists like Jim Lee who are not good comic book artists.

Interesting. I was wondering if Jim Lee could or should be considered.

Dick Dillin?

Ehhh, to be honest, he may be able to draw using a model for poses, instead of tracing. He is sort of the modern day Rich Buckler.. but without the ability to ape other folks style. Also, his final product could be considered to count.

Which brings us back to our definition on what is cheesecake artwork and what isn't. That line is a bit fuzzy given opinions though the "eye of the beholder" is the truest comment made here. We only get what we invest in the art as the consumer of it.

 We're all horny for women.

:P

I'll say anew, being able to draw a woman (sexy or not) is not the same as being a cheesecake artist (referring to Cat's Bolland/Frank/Perez post).

Whenever I think of those artists, I think of Judge Dredd/Hulk/Titans (all of em, not just Starfire).

I also think of them that way as well as a number of other artist whom are labeled as chessecake artists.

Thing is, if they can and have drawn cheesecake, does that not also have them be included as such, though not full time as some?

Matt Baker did more then cheesecake stuff.

Even Manara has done none porn/cheesecake artwork.

Nah. He's Eastern European of some sort I think, first name's kinda like Stephan, only not spelled that way. Don't know if he's still doing WB or if he's on The Darkness or some other Top Cow universe thing.

Also, there's that guy who did the inventory cover for Power Girl #27. His foreshortening was off a bit, but it was one hell of a pure cheesecake cover, probably the best of the series.

Thing is, he hasn't done much.

And of course the lady who did some of the art on WF and is now on SG I think. Italian woman IIRC, but I can't recall her name.

Warren Louw, a truly great cover (and Warren's first cover ever). For me, it's about the eyes. Just gorgeous.
