So who is giving voice to Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe Retaliation?  Could it be a previous actor? Plus a new picture of the head Snake himself from the movie!

Numerous G.I. Joe related sites have been stating in the past few weeks that Charlie Adler is indeed voicing Cobra Commander for the upcoming G.I. Joe: Retaliation movie.  Adler had previously voiced Cobra Commander for G.I. Joe: Resolute (2009) and G.I. Joe: Renegades (2010-2011).







It was also confirmed via Ain't It Cool News who had an interview with director Jon Chu, that the CC behind the mask will still be Rex Lewis from the previous movie (as played by Joseph Gordon Levitt), and not an entirely new CC as previously reported on. G.I. Joe: Retalation hits US theaters June 29.

He was but his character's name was Rex Lewis before he became Cobra Commander.

This. All Chu is saying is that though JGL won't be reprising his role, the Rex Lewis character will still be in G.I. Joe Retaliation as Cobra Commander. Just now played by a different actor and he'll be voiced by Adler.

Plus cc or re in the last film was pretty screwed up so voice and actor difference should not be that big of a deal.
