I'm not surprised that the guy who doesn't want any boobs or hot chicks eating each other out on the show is weirded out about the gay scenes as well.

Is Rockman mormon?

Not in medieval times, if Renly becomes King but then dies without providing an heir, the kingdom will just be plunged into war again.

I understand that argument punch, I just don't see it coming up in the impending argument with Stannis is all since Stannis doesn't seem to know about that.

if

it had been an issue at all in the book it would have been interesting. But Martin barely gave Renly any time at all in the first two books before he offed him.

Another excellent episode, and perhaps the grimmest yet, the torture, Joffrey forcing the whores to beat each other, the soldier getting his leg cut off... all very disturbing.

And then there's the shadow baby, which was just perfect, just like I imagined. And of course it's always good to see LOST cast members getting work.

In fact, my only problem with this episode was that they cut out Renly's peach! Other than that... very good, great to see Tywin again, and to get our first looks at Roose Bolton, Xaro Xoan Daxos and Jeyne Westerling.

So Oona Chaplin IS playing Jeyne? I had to google it after the episode, and the casting info said so.. but she gave a different name, and doesn't appear to be of noble birth. So are they changing her character?

Or she's a noble woman volunteering with the silent sisters. Since the season 2 teasers, we all knew there'd be some changes to Jeyne. Those were heavily implying lots of passion between Robb and Jeyne (for fans of True Blood perhaps?). In the books they had all the passion of a oldsmobile parked under a tree, so they had to change something and the early implication of her outlook is something new on the show. I bet she'll give him shit a couple more times before they start going at it like ferrets.

Havent watched the episode but not according to wiki.
In 2011, she was cast in the second season of the HBO fantasy TV series Game of Thrones[13] as the healer Talisa, a character who takes the role of Jeyne Westerling in the A Song of Ice and Fire novels which the series adapts.

I don't think she's supposed to be Jeyne Westerling. This new chick is from Volantis. I'm guessing she's replacing Jeyne.

I love the casting on this show. Davos and Melisandre are both spot-on. I like Melisandre a lot more on the show than I did in the books (where she always makes my skin crawl).

Bolton was perfect, too.

I think Tywin stole the show for me, this week. Total badass.

That ending was poor. Very worried where they go from here.

I know. This magic stuff isn't going to go over with the real viewers. IF they wanted this show to be a hit and not get cancelled after one season they would do two things.

1. NO magic or loser shit like that.

2. NO goofy dragons, zombies, giants, etc. Dragons aren't real.
