I mean, have you ever even stopped to consider why everyone thinks you're a dick?

I'm the dick? No you are.

Pathetic fanboy rants interspersed with swear words to make yourself sound 'tough', and a complete inability to grasp what's important in a story and not being able to accept when you're wrong. It's not that you dislike something I like, it's that you dislike it in fucking stupid ways and don't understand BSG or Game Of Thrones.

Still refusing to watch JJ Abrams' Star Trek?

I think what's great is all the stuff they added (and there was a lot) was important to the story. It was mostly things like Tyrion and the whores or Bran getting yelled at for climbing that was discussed in the books, but didn't happen in the books. It was very well done and kept the writers from using unnecessary flashbacks.

I wonder how they are going to get around the stuff that took place 17 years ago with Robert's Rebellion, will they do flashbacks?

All the new scenes were needed to get character traits across as we don't have the benefit of inner monologues and did their jobs well.

I'm curious about that too. The fan in me wants to see those flashbacks, especially Robert killing Rhaegar on the Trident. But there is another part of me which just wants them to talk about it and move it forward that way.

Exactly.

There is a scene in the upcoming previews that shows Ned walking in on Jaime in the throne room (I'm assuming sitting in the Iron Throne). I wonder if that is the scene after Jaime kills Aerys or just another scene.

They will probably have to cast characters like Lyanna and Rhaegar and Aerys for dream sequences that Ned and Dany have, so maybe they will have them in flashbacks too.

See, here's exactly the thing I was looking for. You truly are still pissed off about some shit I said two years ago.

You lack so much self-awareness it's almost a joke. It's alright for you to cast your scorn upon anything you don't like with neither explanation nor logic. But as soon as someone even remotely suggests a flaw with something you routinely rub against your cock, you spend the next two years working that raisin in your skull to find ways to insult them at every turn.

I hope this recent attempt isn't taking up the space you normally reserve for remembering how to wipe your ass. But if it is, don't worry. I'm sure no one will notice the smell.

I can criticize the shit that I like. I can spot the flaws and rant about them as much as I rant about the shit that I hate. You are incapable of this. All you can do is criticize the shit other people like. And you cannot stand it when they criticize whatever it is you like. It drives you insane with eRage.

And I know that because you're still going on about ancient arguments I've already moved past. It still burns you up, though.

More pathetic than cosplayers, IMO.

You're a hypocrit, Punchy. I dunno if you can change that, because doing so requires that self-awareness I mentioned above. As a sort of stop-gap solution, I suggest you try to stop caring about what I do or do not like. Not only will you have a much happier experience on the outhouse, it will probably lead to you having sex with an actual lady-type human.

So instead of spending the next month trying to come up with a savage burn that I'll simply turn back around on you, do something productive. Like talking to a girl, or figuring out a way to move out of your parents' house.

It's not so much about hollywood endings, but so much as the purpose. Things in the book change so rapidly - people in power are killed, people in power who killed the people in power are killed - the purpose tends to change so much that it get's frustrating, like the author didn't know what he was doing until he wanted to kill someone off, rape them to death, or make them a phantom. Just an over all depressing book to me with enough foreshadowing to make me realize the rest of the books are going to be pretty much the same. I did like the character developments in all their ruthlessness, I love extreme conflict, but I don't care for the nonsensical moments that lead to major changes in the plot of the book without a prior buildup to why. I don't know, maybe I'm just to picky. I have read and loved some pretty dark stories, but this one bugged me in many ways. I know, I'm horrible.
