Well, it doesn't need to be that absolute. :P

I've dropped all my comics like X-factor, Moon Knight etc etc, I just wasn't enjoying them.

I won't buy both Bendis' Avnegers books, Caps being dropped, CBA with Iron Man anymore etc etc.

I might get three comics a month monthly, then get the actual good comics where things can happen in trade.

Yes it does. Be consistent. The title of this thread is you are "done with comics". Change it or admit you are a drama queen.

CountD: Greg, thank you for your insights.
Benderbrau: Greg: Unwrapping the riddles of the black man since 2006

Starlord: I swear if you were gay and I wasn't married we'd make the perfect fuck buddies.

Greg: I'd do many things. Coke is not one of them.
Benderbrau: Greg hates all things white.

Benderbrau: Emma, you could learn a thing or two from Greg. Greg does threesomes. That's bi done right.

I think everyone goes through a phase like this at around your age and gives up on all comics or at least on superheroes. I didn't buy any comics from about 16 or 17 until I was about 22. It's just the way it is.

I didn't. It took two kids, Infinite Crisis and ever-rising costs to get me to kick the Wednesday habit.

Try the Walking Dead, if you're not reading it already. The status quo changes all the time there.

Wow, I've been saying this shit for years and every time I do you rail on me for not liking the comics you like. It took a shitty character only MarvelvsDC loved dying to make you realize this?

Yes single universe books are the way to go as they can actually change and have no true status quo as no one is truly safe, on the other hand this can get tiresome, The Walking Dead I'm looking at you.

You never totally kick the habit until you die. Something may bring you back. Like sharing books with your kids. :-D

See, you will be back. You'll want to take the kid to the shop when the kid is like 6 or 7 and you'll buy one book. Then two. And so on.

That's how my current addiction started. Just after my kid was born I thought it would be cool to have a few comics around the house for when she got older. At first it was just a couple of issues here and there, maybe one or two a week. Now I buy a ton of books every week. :-D

I've been saying it for a while now. I think New Avengers whilst not perfect was one of the best examples of things changing.
