I like him goofy, actually. There's plenty of overly serious characters in comics. He made the perfect foil for Cable in that book, since Cable is so overly-serious and complicated.

I was going to say that it worked because no one else was doing that. But for me personally, I like Deadpool a little more serious.

Has the new deadpool book come out yet? I'm so terribly behind on my comics.

Issue 1 is being released in September and see's wade face to face with a skrull armada.....surrendering?

This is what has been solicited of course. And wade manages to take out a whole ship by himself.

I actually have full support on daniel way, he says that he is taking the original series and towards the end of cable/deadpool as his inspiration and running with it. Have faith!

Hey, I was skeptical about X-force, but I'm loving that right now.
