Seriously, we just had a front page drive a couple of weeks ago. We always need more writers, especially ones that want to do research.

If it's something you're interested in, we can easily make it happen.

Well, gentlemen -- and in your case, e_galston, I use that term loosely -- I gotta go have dinner with the Mrs. Then she's gonna wanna talk about her day and stuff, and I'm gonna have to, like, be there.

But as soon as I can come back, I will -- and seriously, thanks for all you guys who popped in. It's cool to be remembered, and cool to be a part of something again that looks like it has a lot of energy and participation. I was dead serious about that -- keeping up on this board is like work I haven't done in years!

Well, the offer is there - we not only do reviews and news, but we also have room for Op/Ed stuff of all kinds. As BlueStreak says, the running of the front page is more Jude Terror (the site webmaster) and his province, with able help from the staff editors (misac, thefourthman and SuperginraiX) while I take charge here in the forums (BlueStreak and Lord Simian - the site owner - are also admins as is Hawk, while Starlord and MrBlack - formerly cynic79 - are moderators).

We also have the Review Group over in the News Stand: they pick a book to review every week and then argue about it at great length in the review group thread. This week it's Fantastic Four #587, unsurprisingly.

Well, well. A little more than six years ago, I came searching for a place to talk comics with the release of Identity Crisis #7, where I learned that Crazy Sue Dibny was smart and crazy enough to outwit the Justice League.

I found Newsarama at that time, registered, minded my own business, for the most part. And since I loathe change, I never left. I would peek at Outhouse after "the split," but as I am a creature of habit, I never migrated over.

But now, on a day where a founding member of the Fantastic Four meets their doom, I wanted to talk comics. And I was rejected for the sixth day in a row by the Newsarama boards being down.

Look. I believe in loyalty. I do. But come on. A classic character goes down for the count, and I can't even log on to a message board at a comics website?

That's...man, sometimes you just gotta recognize when it's time to move on.

So. The Outhouse. I recognize some of the names, many of them. (Punch! Young man, what are you, 20-plus now?) I don't read comics nearly as much, but still enjoy good conversations about them when I have the time.

Glad to be here, because history repeats itself. On a day when comics changes in tone, I reach out to people like me. So if you remember me, say hi!
