That won't happen for the next few days worth since they are already done, but I can try to remember to do that going forward. I've tried to list it in the writeup, but I'll try and remember to bold it or put it up top or something.

Everything so far is pretty short, but once we get to the top 100 and certainly into the top 50, I'm going to do longer writeups for the most part. At least, that's the plan.

The top 10 will definitely get longer pieces.

Ka-Zar: 1-14

MTU: 112-113, 115-133

de nada.

Flash (Peyer) -

X-Force (Nicieza) -

Cable (Casey) - I bought for the Ladron - never really read it though.

Akira - Never read it

Fear Agent - Never read it

Judge Dredd (Wagner) - in my Top Ten. Simply incredible stuff. It's a crime the write-up didn't mention Alan Grant (who with John Wagner wrote over 400 issues of pure excitment).

Ka-Zar (Waid) - It was all right. Him beating Thanos is the only memorable thing (and I only remember the outcome, not the issue itself). Bruce Jones/Brent Anderson's Ka-Zar was miles better.

Marvel Team-Up (DeMatteis) - On my short list. As each issue came out, they were usually 'bottom of the stack', but damn if I don't (decades later) remember more details from those issues than the 'top of the stack so called must reads' of the day. While the art was either hit (Sal) or miss (Herb) the writing was always fantastic.

Gammill actually did the majority of that run (119-131), and he remains to this day one of my favorite Spidey artists (so does Sal for that matter).

Big red flag nowadays - but back in the 80's on either Ka-Zar or his Pacific stuff - the guy was really really good.

Didn't mean to discount Gammil (whom I also loved on PM/IF and later on Superman), I just think Sal's the man on MTU (second behind Byrne overall - but 1st everywhere else).

READ IT!!!! It won't disappoint. Especially if you have the Cable vs Shield issues or the Cable/Avengers vs Harbinger. Really good stuff...

my thoughts on today's entries:

Flash -- the Peyer run was indeed good, but technically too short to be here

X-Force -- with Rob, blech; after Rob, i enjoyed it a lot, particularly #19, the X-Cutioner's Song epilogue issue

Cable -- really fun run; truthfully, for a character whose origins are so terrible, between Robinson, Casey, and Weinberg, his book was actually legitimately good for a good long while

Akira -- couldn't get into the movie, don't care to try the book

Fear Agent -- i have hated every word i've read by Remender, so i doubt i'll be trying this any time soon either

Judge Dredd -- never read, no real interest

Ka-Zar -- loved it, as evidenced by my bitchin' writeup

MTU -- my #10 and probably in truth my second favorite comic run of all time

i was just pointing out that the art was actually more consistently "hit" than "miss" after Herb left after the first 8 issues.

Akira - Never read it

Fear Agent - Never read it

Judge Dredd (Wagner) - I never read any Judge Dredd but I've always thought he was a cool character/concept/

Ka-Zar (Waid) - I think there's a trade that was just put out. I need to track that down.

Marvel Team-Up (DeMatteis) - I love Marvel Team Up but I'm more a Claremont/Byrne fan.
