Again what made Lex endearing was sure he hated Superman but he also was in it for the money. Now all he has is hating Superman. You think he want to reclaim what was his and get that dough into funding to beat Superman again?
I know all the ways of him escaping prison time are insane (blame it on the clone imposters), but businessman Lex is the best Lex there is.
I also think it's because Luthor is everywhere ALL THE TIME and people are just tired of seeing him and it's going to get to the point of that happening with the Joker as well. Luthor is seriously overexposed in the media and I swear if he's the main villain in the next Superman movie (whenever that comes out), I probably won't be seeing it. I think people want something different
and Sinestro is that to a certain degree. This is one of the reasons why I've always said a Green Lantern movie (done right) would be the next big thing for WB because Sinestro would make for an excellent antagonist.
I admit seeing Lex run around in that clunky armor is at times unappealing because it doesn't fit someone like him, it makes him look thuggish which is something that contradicts his cerebral demeanor. I agree that Lex goes well with Lexcorp but I don't want to see him in the office all day either. I think Lex (like the Joker) needs a break and only to be used when someone takes the time to bring his best traits forward.
