Spiderrob wrote:Think about it.

He whines in the 60s. "what's my place in the world" boo hoo.

He quits in the 70s and becomes Nomad. For cripes sake.

He quits being Cap in the 80s.

Then with disassembled, he basically quits the whole Avengers. He doesn't reform them just because they suffer a defeat?

Then when Civil War happens, he quits again. Apparently because he doesn't know what Myspace is.

and when he's not quitting, he's getting beat.

In the 40s, zemo blows him up and bucky. he spends, what 40 yrs in ice? Good job cap.

He gives a big speech to Thanos "You'll never win as long as one man" zap, Cap is dead

Iron man kicks his ass during Armor Wars and Civil War.

At the same time, he mended his shield during Marvel's Secret War (1985) using nothing more than his incredible willpower.

Whether Lancer's 7/11 videos, or the video on the ATM, or the reservation you made at a hotel.

You are not acting privately, you are acting in concert with another business.

Its not passive like TV coming in, you're using the internent to go out.

At the same time, people still have a reasonable expectation that their privacy will be protected. John Doe can walk in off the street and demand some company's records and expect to get them, because when a company allows such private transactions to be disclosed without just cause, they get sued by the people making those transactions.

Not necessarily. Medical records, yes. Other things are not protected at all. When you give your phone number to Toys R Us, they sell it.

and of course, this is a court order....

Channeled by the Supreme Sentinal of Liberty.

Yeah, TRU sells your phone number...but there's a protection there, as you can block your name, and get placed on the DNC list and get back your protection.

Has that ever been challenged, though?

Cap wouldn't be intersting if he won all the time.

One of my favorite moments from JLA/Avengers...which we won't see anything like that again until Marvel buys DC...is when Batman and Cap square off. All it takes is for them to face each other, they both make a feint, and both conclude that, while they both feel they could probably win, they realize how much effort it would take, and decide to talk.

I thought it captured both characters really well, as supreme fighters, but not for the fight's sake.

I making a big sign for my protest right now.
I don't care that 7-11 records me- but if they gave the records of everything I bought from 7-11 to beverage company who feels like someone, somewhere stole their formula for pepsi- i would be annoyed

I tried to remember my old phone number yesterday and couldn't beyond the first three numbers. One time, I used the store's phone number.
