DC Advises Fans to

DC tosses us a softball, and we leap on it like a poor sports analogy.

Source: CBR

While a good deal of fans have already lost hope in DC's Dark Line, the comic publisher is encouraging its fans to give up before reading its next crossover event.  DC released a new teaser entitled "Abandon All Hope", featuring a bunch of 'Dark' characters sitting on a boat.  The image appears to be colored using a palette made exclusively of browns, and also prominently features Aquaman's disembodied arm, which we hope means that Aquaman will be having it chopped off soon.  I don't recognize all the characters, but I think I see a female version of Frank Miller's Xeres (from 300) standing behind Constantine, so maybe this is a weird crossover of some sorts.  Also, the Question (dressed in a brown trenchcoat) is also featured front and center, so fans of that character might want to watch.

Here it is in all it's glory:

In summation, if you want to read a brown comic book featuring Aquaman's arm, Socks the Talking Cat, and Nightmare Nurse, this is the comics crossover for you. Otherwise, abandon all hope for DC, and read Revival instead, which is a genuinely scary book, and not just scarily bad.

Yeah... what happened to colorful comics? (no, orange & brown weren't two of the original four colors!)

"Abandon all Hope and enter into The Dark!"

Oddly enough, this would've been a more honest motto for the reboot.

BOOM!

Aquaman's arm is rising up out of the water, where he is apparently being held under by Swamp Thing's roots/vines. Notice that Swamp Thing is holding Aquaman's trident.
The woman near Deadman is Capucine (from "Swamp Thing").
The women behind The Question are Madame Xanadu, Amethyst, and Black Orchid. The Question's color outfit color was altered a while back although then it appeared to be more beige tones.
The guy behind Constantine might be Tannarack.

... is someone trying to drown Aquaman?

That might not work.

Unless the color scheme is really off, probably not.

So DC's moving on with its corporate slogan from "Forever Evil" to "Abandon All Hope"?

OMG I hadn't even thought of that---touche! XD

It fits their "no humor, all drama/tragedy" themes, anyway.

Yep. Also, Sea king doesn't wear gloves. This could be a tease of some upcoming "Swamp Thing vs Aquaman" arc or for some reason Swamp Thing needs to use Arthur's trident's power.
