American Born Chinese Comes in Second Place at National Book Awards

Gene Leun Yang’s “American Born Chinese” was tied for second place for the Young People’s Literature Category at the National Book Awards that occured Wednesday. The winner of the award was “The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Traitor to the Nation, Vol. 1: The Pox Party” who’s author, M.T. Anderson, praised the Awards’ decision for [...]
