From a photographer standpoint though, it's pretty shitty in that environment to expect people to sign off on all that and seems like he's taking advantage because he knows the atmosphere. But that's just me.
This smells very funny to me as I see his ability to monetize the work, but no mention of compensation to the model.- akin to how some predatory producers behave.
If it was paid, I'm a little less worried. Thems the breaks as a model - when you sign away your rights to a set you never know what will be done with it.
But if this is him taking shots of uncompensated coplayers and getting them to sign a release on the spot? In my professional opinion, that may be legal but it is NOT ethical.
