I'm inclined to agree with ya there Hab. Between the Fear Itself rehash, forced revelation of Phoenix's past and Hope getting cold feet, the whole thing was a giant...

I really enjoyed the issue. :smt102

It sounds like the pro-X-Men people are just angry that Scott Summers looks even more like a villain.

My guess is X-Men Legacy.

I didn't even think that.

What exactly did he do that was so villianous?

The Phoenix seemed to confirm everything we already knew about Cyke being right the whole time.

The only interesting things that remain to be seen in this series are: 1) When will Cable show up? 2) What will happen to Wanda? 3) What's the connection between the Phoenix and the Iron Fist.

The whole idea that Tony Stark could whip something up in this woodshed that would effect the Phoenix to this degree is ridiculous, in light of the fact that the Shiar haven't been able to do anything about it in thousands of years.

Do we know how much time has passed from Nova arriving till now? Stark has probably been working on this since then.

Not at all, well for me anyways. I was glad to see Phoenix is cleaning up after No More Mutants. Just the whole second half seemed really by the numbers with the Fear Itself gimmick, Stark solving his problems with a big ass Iron Man suit and oh ya by the way here's some of Phoenix's secret origin info conveniently revealed just in time for the big twist.

It's an interesting thought. Let's say all gay people were turned straight except 200. Would those 200 try and ensure more gay people are created or would they be ok with others not being gay and be happy they wouldn't have to go through the hate they did?

What secret origin are you referring to?

Definitely the best part of the issue.

If the Avengers had their way, wouldn't they all be dead on the moon by now?

I don't see it, but even if he is right about the outcome, I've always said that I just have a problem with the risk.

I'm sure at least one would.
