I mean, you'll still probably be able to get a copy in your shop and all. It's just Diamond has no more to give. Hey look! Red variant!

It's getting to be the "norm" that the #1 issue of 'events' sell out at Diamond. Retailers always over-order initially. It will be interesting to start hearing how actual retail sales figures are and how many copies, if any, are left on the shelves in a week or two.

Marvel also urges retailers to check their orders on all issues of Avengers VS. X-Men and it's tie-ins as the series has already generated buzz from all corners of the media and will continue to do so in the coming months.
They're actually begging. A new low?

In many places #1 was shipped in the regular boxes from Diamond and sold alongside #0.

This isn't exactly the first time a publisher has put in this disclaimer in a press release.
Gotta make that money.

I saw that too. That's always been the problem with these timed/midnight releases though....you'd think they'd learn by now that the street date always gets broken.
The AR icon took a bit of getting used to though.

I picked up #0 and #1 today.
Then when I went back, they were gone.

I actually picked up this shop today. They have VERY few copies available and I got there only a half hour or so after they were on the shelf. The guy hadn't even finished off pull lists.

When I went to the shop there was am ample supply of #0, no one here was selling #1 early that I know of.
