I thought the comic was good, but the problem was the art. It's not that Coipel doesn't draw well, it's that it was bad storytelling IMO. Panels were all over the place and there were times I couldn't tell what order to read. I also couldn't tell what was happening in some of the fight scenes.
The fight is taking place in Cyclops' mind, so I guess it was supposed to be reflective of his state of mind or something. I agree about it being difficult to tell what order to read the panels. Some of these pages should have had what Tom Brevoort calls the "arrow of shame" so we'd know how to read them.
I'd love to see the script for this issue, just to see how much leeway Coipel had in drawing these scenes.
I liked the one two page spread that had Luke Cage prominently featured - wanna bet that was in Bendis' script?
