Scott defeats Emma, and Prof X not soon after challenges him. It doesn't go so well and Scott murders Chuck in front of everyone (X-Men included) with Hope screaming, "NOOOOO!!!". Last page has Scott declaring himself the Phoenix.

Well
At least they didn't put him back in that wheelchair. Still seems like a waste though given how he finally escaped the teams shadow.

You don't want them. They're blurry and can barely make out people. The person posted the dialogue though:

I almost feel like killing Xavier doesn't/shouldn't count. How many times has he died or been suspected to be dead? I realize "dead" doesn't mean "dead" in comic books... but it somehow seems even less permanent for Xavier.

No doubt that they'll pull a Mary Sue with Wanda and Her Amazing-able-To-Do-Anything New & Improved Hex Power and
reset all this somehow. -

This is exactly my problem with it. He's one of my favorite characters and always has been, but now he's kind of ruined.

Well since what happened with the Phoenix was Tony and Steve's fault, Scott was right.
